Summary Inspect parts visually and dimensionally, document inspection results and enter data.
Key Accountabilities
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of received components, in-process components, reworked, and finished goods and accurately enter the resulting data.
Prepare customer quality documentation as required.
Coordinate shipment of finished product
Actively promote and drive a culture of safety.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) year experience and/or training plus course work in inspection and gauging, blueprint reading, SPC and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Must be a self-starter and able to make decisions independently. Experience with a microscope is a must.
Work Environment And Physical Demands
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is quiet/moderate in inspection and loud on the production floor.
