Mission description Position Summary: The Engineering Admin I is responsible for providing overall assistance and support to the Engineering Department and Document Control Department. The Engineering Admin I reports to and works closely with the Document Control / Engineering Manager.
Qualifications Knowledge/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate's degree is preferred. 3 years' of progressive administrative experience is required. 1-2 years' of progressive experience in document control, preferred (i.e. Engineering Change Control, Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Notice Systems).
Skills & Abilities Proven ability to anticipate needs. Strong attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Visio). Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Troubleshooting/problem solving. Ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or within a team environment. Ability to work with all levels of employees/management.
Working Conditions Ability to work occasional overtime hours during evening and weekends, based on release schedules. Ability to be on call during scheduled periods. Primarily office work. Repetitive computer work. Repetitive sitting.
Physical Requirements Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
