Job Responsibilities
Process payments, invoices, and vouchers in accordance with established procedures. Check documents for completeness, accuracy, and obvious errors. Add appropriate standard coding and attachments to processed documents. Compile simple summaries and reports related to documents processed. Extract and locate information from files and records as needed. Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) either manually or using a calculator. Assist more senior clerks with tasks under close supervision. Maintain organized records and ensure data integrity in document processing.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills
Strong attention to detail. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Effective communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Work Experience
Minimum 1 to 3 years experience Some clerical or administrative experience preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of clerical procedures. Good numeric skills and attention to detail. Proficient in basic arithmetic. Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision on standard tasks. Familiarity with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic data entry systems is a plus.
