Product Platforms Design Value Stream Lead - Equities, S&P Dow Jones Indices. Grade Level: 14.
Location: US/New York; UK/London.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Roadmap Ownership:
Develop and communicate a technology-related product roadmap for equity indices grounded in user journeys, operational efficiency, and scalability across all Equities portfolio.
Execution Leadership:
Manage program backlog and MVPs, ensuring alignment with Agile team planning and Definition of Ready/Done.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Align teams on priorities, manage dependencies, and maintain focus on outcomes across regions, asset classes, and systems, while partnering closely with other Value Stream Leads to ensure alignment and coordinated delivery.
Team Development:
Build and grow a high-performing team that thrives on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage strategically with partners and senior stakeholders across Product, Index Operations, and Technology to drive alignment, transparency, and timely decision‑making.
Delivery Excellence:
Monitor progress, validate features, lead demos, and proactively communicate risks, insights, and business value.
What We’re Looking For Basic Required Qualifications:
Proven experience leading product or program delivery within Agile and scaled Agile (SAFe) environments, including backlog management and continuous delivery cycles.
Strong product mindset focused on user value, business outcomes, and operational efficiency.
Demonstrated experience in equity or financial data products, preferably within index, trading, or analytics environments.
Ability to synthesize complex information and create clarity through structured communication.
Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, prioritization, and value stream alignment.
Skilled in stakeholder management, planning, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Demonstrated leadership in building, coaching, and enabling high‑performing teams.
Experience applying design thinking and data‑driven decision‑making to optimize product delivery and adoption.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in equity market structures, benchmarks, or investment analytics.
Understanding of enterprise architecture, data workflows, and integration patterns supporting index production and distribution.
Track record of driving organizational change and embedding Agile practices at scale.
Global perspective with experience leading teams across multiple regions.

Compensation/Benefits Information S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 to $255,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
