Senior Operations Analyst

Location: Spartanburg, SC
Summary / Objective The Senior Operations Analyst provides support within the operational areas, including servicing, loss mitigation, remarketing, and account operations. Responsibilities include producing and analyzing reporting to identify trends, gaps, and recommending solutions.
Essential Functions
Assist with daily dialer strategies (inbound and outbound) by making intraday adjustments and performance tuning.
Prepare, oversee, and streamline daily processes, including user acceptance testing, automation, and implementation of complex changes.
Take initiative to automate daily processes and reporting.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards while ensuring up‑to‑date documentation.
Drive vendor performance and partner with vendors to improve processes while ensuring legal guidelines are met.
Proactively support the team with ad‑hoc or project‑like requests.
Ensure the team is cross‑trained on all responsibilities.
Initiate, analyze, problem‑solve, and present on projects, enhancements, and business opportunities that support company‑wide decisions.
Audit processes to reduce errors and review existing operations to ensure the highest level of efficiency.
Remain flexible to adapt to changes quickly based on business needs.
Lead and coordinate special projects with a focus on continuous business process improvement.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred.
Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF functions).
Knowledge or willingness to learn SQL, Redshift (AWS), Power BI, RStudio.
Ability to manage multiple competing responsibilities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Proactive problem‑solving with a strong sense of urgency and teamwork.
Strong attention to detail with quality control support.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
Excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
Experience in project presentations.
Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones (including Zoom and Microsoft Teams applications).
Position Type / Expected Hours Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hours may vary or exceed 40 hours per week depending on business needs.
Travel No travel is expected for this position.
