Overview
Delivery Specialist role at O\'Reilly Auto Parts. The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, collect money on COD deliveries, and pick up customer returns. Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance premiums, or other premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Essential Job Functions
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep vehicles clean and maintained; complete daily vehicle inspections prior to operating. Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and monies collected secure at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips. Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure the vehicle at the end of the day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Other duties as assigned, including customer service, stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and checking in stock orders. Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates. All other duties as assigned. Skills/Education/Experience/Abilities

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company\'s 14/18-point record system. Must possess a legally required state driver\'s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Desired
Familiar with automotive parts. Ability to operate other light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired). Total Compensation Package
