Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update SAP and other scheduling systems with current data to support production plans
Create and release process orders (≈$100M+ business) ensuring accurate quantities and timing
Monitor production progress versus plan and adjust to meet goals and raw material demand
Anticipate scheduling conflicts and lead cross‑functional resolution to meet customer/business needs
Place and monitor raw material orders, communicate with suppliers, and track deliveries, issue formal complaints, drive supplier performance
Manage inventory levels, bulk solvent schedules, and resolve supply delays proactively
Uphold cGMP quality standards (SISPQ) via strict documentation, training, deviation reporting, and PPE use
Adhere to ESHS rules: complete training, report hazards/injuries, coach peers, and maintain safe workplace
Requirements
Associate’s Degree in related area preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience/training in a similar Manufacturing work environment preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and verbal, written, and presentation skills. Able to work effectively as a leader of or member in a team environment.
Able to work confidentially and independently
Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication skills are needed
Excellent listening skills
Strong customer orientation
Demonstrated ability to use and present data.
High degree of computer skill including but not limited to: SAP, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
