Promotions Assistant – Entry Level (Houston, TX)
Location: Houston, TX (On-site | Face-to-Face, Event-Based Role)
About the Role Next Up Talent is hiring for a full-time, entry-level Promotions Assistant in Houston, TX. This is a face-to-face, customer-facing position involving sales and marketing activities on behalf of nonprofit and brand partners.
In this role, you’ll interact directly with the public at local events, helping to increase awareness, drive support, and generate results through meaningful conversations and clear communication. Sales will be a key part of your day-to-day responsibilities, so we’re looking for someone who is confident, people-focused, and motivated by performance.
Key Responsibilities
Represent nonprofit and brand clients at local community events
Engage directly with customers, explain initiatives, and encourage participation
Promote brand awareness by sparking conversations and inspiring action at events
Drive customer acquisition and donor support through face-to-face sales
Track results and provide feedback to improve campaign performance
Work closely with a team to meet individual and collective goals
