JOB TITLE: Catholic Mass Musician LOCATION: Keesler AFB. Catholic Chapel, Biloxi, MS 39534 Responsibilities
Provides instrumental and accompaniment music for congregation singing and choral selections Demonstrates proficiency on a secondary instrument of either piano, organ, guitar, bass guitar, and/or other basic instrument Reads sheet music or is able to accompany with basic improv Provides instrumental and accompaniment music to support rehearsals and worship services, including Catholic worship hymns and choral selections Qualifications
Two (2) years’ experience performing worship and music services for a Catholic church/chapel, preferably within the past five (5) years Familiarity with the essential teaching and religious practices of the Roman Catholic Church Shall be able to play piano and/or organ Details
