Product Marketing Manager Thales is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) responsible for ensuring the competitiveness of their assigned product portfolio. The PMM manages the product line, its evolution, and commercial performance throughout its lifecycle—from feasibility study to end of life. They focus on translating customer and market requirements into products and services with clear, differentiated value propositions to increase order intake and net margin, supported by market needs, competitive positioning, pricing, and value analysis. The PMM collaborates with Strategy, Business Development, Customer Success, and Product Delivery teams to create campaigns that align with the strategic business plan and gross margin objectives. The role also involves ensuring that products and services deliver solutions valued by the market, which customers are willing to pay for and prefer over competitors. This requires expertise in market and pricing analysis, competitive intelligence, and voice of customer insights. The PMM influences product strategy and positioning by providing evidence-based market needs and competitive insights, defining a dollarized value proposition, and managing end-to-end go-to-market activities. Key Areas of Responsibility : Lead analysis of market trends, customer needs, segmentation, and competitive positioning, using Competitive & Market Intelligence. Collaborate with Customer Success to align product strategy with customer requirements, identifying gaps and developing plans. Define and execute product action plans, manage marketing and sales materials, and develop robust roadmaps and lifecycle strategies. Create go-to-market strategies including presentations, proposals, pricing, brochures, and sales training. Prioritize investments based on customer needs and competitive analysis. Support sales efforts by acting as a thought leader, representing Thales at industry events, and assisting with bid strategies, solution positioning, and customer meetings. Ensure customer success teams have the necessary tools and training. Develop and quantify the product's value proposition, working with Product Delivery to track performance and defend value through real-world data. Refine pricing strategies based on total value analysis and market intelligence. Build cross-organizational relationships to promote product awareness and alignment. Research industry and customer pain points, and explore digital trends to inform internal strategies. Plan and monitor product launches, report outcomes, and optimize messaging and positioning to maintain competitiveness and demonstrate total value of operations. Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, STEM, or related field with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or HS diploma with at least 15 years of relevant experience. Experience in Product Marketing and/or Product Management within telecommunications, digital media, inflight entertainment, or communications sectors. Strong analytical skills in pricing, ROI, TCO, market analysis, and competitive intelligence. Proven ability to develop effective marketing materials. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Special Position Requirements : Schedule: Core hours Monday-Friday; may require outside hours. Physical Environment: Office and demo lab. Travel: 20-40% domestic and international travel. Regulatory Compliance: None. What We Offer : The anticipated annual TTC range is $120,425.90 - $223,648.10 USD, with potential for higher pay and additional benefits depending on circumstances.
