Office Assistant Sr. - Meadowbrook HS 2025-26
Office Assistant Sr. in Meadowbrook High School. Provides clerical support services in the school's main office or guidance office. Performs routine clerical duties within established procedures and standard practices. Each position has specific work assignments to meet the needs of students or the department served.
Base pay range:
$16,292.00/yr – $27,476.00/yr
Essential Job Functions:
Provides clerical assistance including reprographics, filing, maintaining records and ordering supplies and materials.
Assembles and disseminates information.
Performs light typing of correspondence from rough drafts.
Screens visitors, telephone calls, and incoming mail.
Responds to routine inquiries from parents, citizens and others regarding school programs and schedules.
Acts as an information resource to students and faculty regarding routine school operations and policies.
Obtains information requested from within and outside the organization.
Assists with data entry, data management and record keeping.
Assists in the clinic in the absence of the clinic assistant.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Reporting:
May be required to prepare reports for use by the building principal related to operations and programs.
Equipment:
Proficient in computer use and general office equipment.
Contacts:
General public and school staff – daily, to obtain or provide information.
Decision Making:
Supervisor is consulted in unusual or complex situations.
Physical Demands:
Requires use of hands, reach, handling paper files, computer and equipment controls. Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling. Requires close and distance vision.
Work Environment:
Office environment; noise level quiet to moderate; no risk to physical health or safety.
Qualifications:
Some knowledge of office practices and procedures, manual or automated filing systems, business English and mathematics; typing, operating personal computers, word processing equipment, automated office systems. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work effectively with all levels of personnel, students and public. Education, training or experience sufficient to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
