Salary Range $40,000 - $50,000 base, depending on experience
Position Summary The Office Assistant provides general support for the Administrative Manager by assisting with various Claims duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assisting the Administrative Manager with personal injury or workers’ compensation projects as needed
Preparing for and completing all office runs as needed (court, bank, client documents)
Pursuing information regarding various correspondence (case updates and status requests)
Scanning Litigation documents into correct mailrooms
Delivers Litigation to the appropriate Litigation Specialist
Filing of physical litigation documents
Requirements
Bilingual in English and Spanish
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the Firm to outside parties
Proficient in multi-tasking, attention to detail, and ability to audit documents and spreadsheets
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, computer
Ability to work with databases and online technological platforms
Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible
Committed to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of clients and the Firm
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Minimum of six months of experience in personal injury or workers’ compensation
Good driving record and a dependable vehicle for administrative delivery runs (mileage reimbursed)
