Job Description Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Legal Assistant for a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will support the legal team and advance your career.
Schedule and Hours Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; 8 hours/day. Part‑time position.
Legal Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing contract approval forms.
Gathering case documents as requested.
Scheduling incoming court or payment deadlines and coordinating with the legal team to ensure deadlines are met.
Collaborating routinely with general counsel and staff attorneys.
Communicating with outside counsel for billing purposes.
Preparing and submitting payment for invoices.
Record keeping.
Performing additional administrative tasks as requested.
Legal Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
Clerical experience in an office environment, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
1‑year prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal (preferred).
High school diploma or GED.
Paralegal certification (preferred, not required).
Job Type Part‑time, temporary.
