We’re seeking a skilled and experienced wills, trust, and estate paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Compensation $50,000 - $75,000
Responsibilities
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer
Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues
Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings
Draft Wills
Draft Trust Documents
Qualifications
3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Typing a minimum of 55 wpm
Excellent computer skills
Detail oriented
Deadline-driven, never misses a court deadline
Skilled with calendaring due dates and following up with all stakeholders to ensure milestones are met
Superior customer service and communication skills
