Part-Time Visiting Research Fellow, Center for Church Management
The Center for Church Management in the Villanova School of Business is seeking applicants for the position of Visiting Research Fellow who will be the co-principal investigator (PI) for 2-4 research initiatives on stewardship, synodality, and inclusive leadership in support of the mission of the Center. This is a part-time, visiting faculty position. This position is also externally-funded and may be renewed contingent on the continued availability of funds. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Collaborate with The David Grenon Family Faculty Director of the Center for Church Management to meet the requirements of the Scope of Work for the various Research projects. Coordinate and complete quantitative and qualitative research in parishes and dioceses throughout the United States. Analyze and synthesize the research findings for both academic and practitioner audiences. Coordinate with the teams from the International Catholic Stewardship Conference, ACSTechnologies, and the private family funders as appropriate. Other related duties as assigned by the Faculty Director of the Center for Church Management. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Terminal degree in management, theology, or relevant social science Track record of producing high quality, accessible research for Catholic and Christian audiences 5-years experience in church leadership education (teaching, research, or practice) Network of national contacts in church management research associations (SSSR, RRA, ASR, etc.) Skilled with word processing and video/virtual communications (Zoom, Teams, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Villanova University is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
