Days of the week and time of the course: W/F 9:00am - 12:00pm
Hours per week: 8 - 12
Job Duties:
Guides students through lab exercises
Prepare and present befit introductory lectures
Grade written lab reports and lab notebooks
Grading mid-terms and final exam
Assist with grading in-class group or team presentations
Write, administer and grade quizzes
Attend weekly TA meetings
Maintain grading records
Maintain student attendance records
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:
Have an undergraduate BA or BS in Microbiology or a related field
Be a UMN undergraduate student and maintain the required number of credits to hold an appointment
Strong written and oral presentation Skills
Previously taken this course

About the Department The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is a community of scholars committed to discovering and disseminating knowledge about the microbial world. Our interests and expertise encompass some of the most exciting areas of contemporary microbiology and immunology, ranging from the physiology and development of microorganisms, the molecular pathogenesis of infections, and fundamental aspects of immunity.
Pay and Benefits Pay Range:
$20.00 for those without a 4 year degree, $30.00 for those with a 4 year degree; depending on education/qualifications/experience
