Pediatric Administrative Clinical Coordinator - Patient Progression - FT Nights Our team members are the heart of what makes us better. This role supports patient progression in the pediatric setting and focuses on clinical coordination, leadership, education, mentorship, and ongoing process improvement to prevent negative patient outcomes. Responsibilities

Fosters and maintains effective working relationships among team members; holds staff accountable for commitments; shares knowledge and expertise to achieve quality and service goals. Supervises and mentors nursing staff in managing complex patient challenges, developing critical thinking, nursing interventions, and effective communication and collaboration; provides direction to correct performance when needed. Rounds with nurse residents, supports skill development, and assists nurses with challenging assignments and changes in patient condition. Conducts performance improvement activities including medical record reviews and focused studies; develops methods to evaluate and improve performance. Explores process improvement options in response to issues, external standards, or anticipated needs; develops and implements action plans to resolve issues. Supports patient satisfaction initiatives within a patient-centered care framework and collaborates to ensure quality standards are met. Guides nursing and ancillary teams to maintain quality and coordinates bed placement, ED throughput, and patient transfer processes. Manages patients at risk for clinical deterioration; communicates with care teams and interventionists; assists with priority setting for patient care. Supports management of Code Stroke, Code STEMI, Sepsis Protocol, and Targeted Temperature Management; may provide care until stable or transferred to a higher level of care. Maintains follow-up with the care team after events and may facilitate debriefings. Triages time-sensitive requests, partnering with Administrative Supervisor to prioritize emergent responses. Participates in quality improvement, chart reviews, productivity reporting, and data collection; provides guidance to unit staff as needed. Assists with unit throughput and discharge barriers; acts as a role model and leader to other nurses; keeps professional knowledge current through education and committee participation. Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned; adheres to organizational competencies and behavioral standards. Qualifications

Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire MSN preferred BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required ACLS required PALS required Minimum of 3 years of pediatric ICU and/or ED experience required Telemetry certification, titratable and non-titratable drugs knowledge required Demonstrated leadership, motivation, emotional maturity and ability to function under stress Critical thinking, delegation and problem-solving skills; ability to develop and implement protocols Excellent verbal and written communication; adaptable to diverse audiences; collaborative role Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple complex situations Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite) Compensation and Benefits

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate of pay is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay and does not reflect the full value of our total rewards package. Minimum rate of $95,696.64 annually. Some positions may be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or shift differentials.
