Apply now to advance your career with Torch Technologies. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. The role supports the AFLCMC/HI Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES) within the Contracting Information Technology (CON-IT) program, which aims to modernize contract writing systems through Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and integrated tools, reducing IT footprint, and enhancing process standardization, data quality, security, and compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support, including analysis, procedural expertise, and process improvement strategies. Support senior managers and organizational staff with various tasks. Research and compile information related to projects and topics. Review CDRL packages. Prepare clear, concise, and coordinated written communications. Keep leadership informed of relevant issues related to the mission. Monitor progress on tasks and initiatives. Support program events by providing background information. Draft documents for leadership approval and signature. Distribute program policies and guidance. Coordinate and support meetings and conferences, including scheduling and setup of physical and virtual meetings. Prepare background information and invite participants, ensuring proper documentation such as attendance logs and minutes. Maintain scheduling documents and manage video and online conferencing setup and execution. Assist with travel planning and coordination. Note: Contractor personnel may have restrictions on permissions levels and appointment types as specified by DOD regulations. Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel). Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for records management. Experience using the Defense Travel System (DTS). Familiarity with video and teleconference technologies, including Microsoft Teams, conference room phones, and video systems. Education and Certification
GED with at least two years of relevant experience, including two years in the DoD. No specific certifications required. Other Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a T1/NACI clearance. About the Company
