Overview
Husson’s College of Business is seeking to compile a pool of qualified candidates interested in future part-time teaching opportunities in business and management. Such opportunities are dependent upon the needs of the University. Assignments may require teaching day or evening classes as needed. The College of Business is seeking adjunct faculty to teach the following courses: Introduction to Business; Organization & Management; Business Ethics; Financial Management. Specific courses may change depending upon the needs of the University. Responsibilities
Teaching courses in the fall and/or spring semesters in business and management in a classroom setting Assisting and supporting students beyond the classroom by holding regular or virtual office hours as needed Working collegially with other faculty in the area to develop and use common syllabi, course materials, and assessment methods Using instructional technology, especially the Canvas LMS, Husson G-Suite applications, and the e-faculty portal Assessing and reporting student performance Qualifications
Education:
An earned Master’s Degree in business or a related field is required; Ph.D. preferred. Experience:
Successful teaching experience at the college level preferred. Demonstrated dedication to improving classroom teaching, exploring new methods, and adapting to student needs. Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team. Compensation and Supplemental Information
Undergraduate Course: Masters Prepared $933.33 maximum per credit hour* Undergraduate Course: Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour* Graduate Course: Masters Level Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour* Graduate Course: Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour* *Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.
