A Nanny Match
Location : Columbus Circle, Manhattan
General Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm
Child’s age at start:
Approximately 4 months old
Ideal start date:
December/January
Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Planning and facilitating age-appropriate, enriching, and engaging activities
Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene
Bottle feedings, keeping the bottles and other equipment clean and sterilized
Maintaining the child’s sleeping and eating schedules
Managing the child’s laundry and keeping the nursery and main living areas tidy and sanitized
Introducing solids and preparing meals for the child, and helping the child reach other milestones
Keeping the child’s room and the shared spaces in the home clean and tidy
Taking the child on walks, tummy time, and reading to the child
Maintain a daily parent communication log via the family’s preferred method (shared app or group chat)
Ideal Candidate:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Attentive and prioritizes the child’s safety and well‑being
Experience establishing nap and sleep routines.
Familiarity with safe sleep guidelines
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of recent nanny experience
Extensive experience with infants
Legally authorized to work in the U.S
Professional references from prior families
Fully vaccinated
CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get it renewed)
Commitment to minimal phone use during caregiving
Per-friendly; the family has a friendly 10-pound dog
Flexibility for occasional later evenings
Compensation: Base hourly rate of $35-40/hr (gross). Overtime (1.5x the base rate) after 40 hours worked per week. Guaranteed 50 hours per week
