Overview We’re seeking a high-caliber Personal Assistant to support a dynamic entrepreneur and devoted single mother in New York City. Her life is full and fast-moving—balancing high-impact business ventures, a lively household, and the care of her 10-year-old son.

This is a role for someone who brings not only sharp logistical skills and sound judgment, but also high emotional intelligence, a calm and confident presence, and a deep sense of pride in being of service. A keen eye for aesthetics—whether helping refine a space, edit a calendar, or streamline a process—will go far in this role.

You’ll be the operational anchor of the home—ensuring schedules align, staff are coordinated, and no detail is left unattended. While this is a managerial role at its core, it’s also hands‑on: someone who can jump in directly, lead with clarity, and offer calm, capable backup when life inevitably shifts.

This role is ideal for someone who finds true fulfillment in supporting a woman who is balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship with grace—and who sees their own role as complementary to that rhythm. A savvy design sensibility and appreciation for well-curated environments will be especially valued in this home.

The Heart of the Role This role is far more than scheduling and errands. It’s about bringing foresight, structure, and calm to a household that moves at a high level. The Personal Assistant is the connective tissue between people, plans, and places—a reliable presence who ensures things run smoothly even (and especially) when life gets unpredictable.

They possess uncommon common sense and an innate ability to solve problems and execute on tasks with precision and confidence. Someone with an intuitive sense for flow—not just in logistics, but in space, energy, and design—will feel particularly at home here.

You’ll supervise household staff, manage the Principal’s personal calendar, coordinate logistics between home and work, and maintain strong oversight of vendors, errands, and household operations. You’ll also step in when needed—covering childcare in a pinch, helping with a project, or simply ensuring that everyone on the team is rowing in the same direction.

Foster a respectful, professional team culture built on accountability and communication.

Calendar Management & Scheduling

Own and manage the Principal’s complex personal calendar—ensuring commitments are well-coordinated and realistic.

Take over the “switchboard” role—anticipating conflicts, flagging misalignments, and simplifying scheduling decisions.

Coordinate with staff for pickups, appointments, and travel planning.

Liaise regularly with the Brand Manager/Executive Assistant to ensure seamless coordination between household and business priorities.

Household Operations

Oversee household systems, vendors, service providers, and special projects across NYC and upstate homes.

Manage errands, grocery routines, purchases, and personal systems—streamlining tasks wherever possible.

Support home improvement and design projects; design sensibility is a big plus.

Create and maintain household manuals, SOPs, and inventories to promote long-term efficiency.

Step in flexibly when needed: covering childcare, handling a time-sensitive task, or resolving a last‑minute issue.

Operate with a “no loose ends” mindset—ensuring execution, not just delegation.

Be part of a responsive, solutions‑oriented household team that operates with trust, minimal friction, and kindness.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You lead with emotional intelligence, respond thoughtfully in fast‑moving situations, and handle challenges with steadiness.

Excellent judgment and common sense. You make practical decisions quickly, solve problems early, and know what to elevate—and what to handle.

Professional boundaries. You’re service‑mindful, kind, and approachable, while maintaining clarity around your role and responsibilities.

Organized and proactive. You thrive in managing complexity, love creating systems, and bring predictability to dynamic environments.

Leadership presence. You’re confident overseeing staff, representing the Principal with vendors or professionals, and holding both people and processes to a high standard.

Flexible and hands‑on. While the role is primarily managerial, you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed.

Design‑aware and detail‑attuned. You notice how form, tone, and atmosphere shape experience—whether in a space, a schedule, or a conversation.

New York–based. This is a hybrid role with a mix of in‑person and remote work; occasional travel to the upstate home is expected.
