Position Summary: Examines patients with breathing-related conditions. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Department Director.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in Respiratory Therapy program.

Current Ky Student Respiratory Therapy Practitioner License accepted in lieu of education*

Required Licenses: Other Current Kentucky Student Respiratory Therapy Practitioner License.

Required Skills / Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire date.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
