We’re looking to add a

Supply Chain Analyst

located in

Columbia, SC .

Reporting to the

Purchasing Manager , the Supply Chain Analyst will assist in customer interface on strategic materials for key accounts. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing costs, and providing financial performance analysis.

What a typical day looks like:

Drive sourcing/pricing strategies for materials quotations.

Present materials value‑add to customers or suppliers.

Interface with customers and suppliers on new project start‑ups and cost‑of‑ownership issues.

Develop and implement flexibility and supply assurance plans.

Manage component cost/price on a local, regional, and global basis.

Track materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.

Define and implement pricing and costing strategies.

Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.

Implement cost‑take‑down strategies.

Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduce Guide‑Time, and improve Electronic Data Interface penetration.

Manage regional supplier contract negotiations, including Memorandums of Comprehension, Non‑disclosure, and regional pricing agreements.

Measure and report Purchase Price Variance and initiate action plans.

Monitor and manage supplier times.

Mitigate shortages, excess on order, and excess on hand.

Participate in global and regional commodity teams.

Contribute information/data on top-spend suppliers for quarterly scorecards.

Manage material cost reviews.

Improve gross material margin.

Identify and implement actions for Retained Purchase Price Variance (RPPV) optimization.

Reconcile with customer on PPV, premium charges, carrying costs, freight charges, excess and obsolete inventory, NCNR, etc.

Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plan.

Coordinate quarterly/monthly PPV hard‑call process.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

7 years of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain management or related area.

Experience in Supply Chain and Contract Manufacturing background.

Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint.

Understand cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends and technologies.

Strong background in electronics manufacturing and a thorough understanding of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) product development process.

Office skills: telephones, data entry, office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database systems.
