Perform checks to ensure that the correct product is being manufactured and that in-process specifications are being met, e.g., inspecting encapsulated product for quality defects such as cosmetic issues, contamination, and size. Perform packaging line checks to ensure the correct labels, packaging components and intermediate products are used for the product being packaged. Ensure production records, including equipment logs, scale verification records, room logs, etc., are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Perform GMP and hygiene inspections throughout the facility, including the weekly sanitation and pest control inspections. Ensure QC monitoring and testing equipment in processing areas is accurate, calibrated, and functioning correctly. Perform cleaning and sanitization verification testing, inspect for adequate cleaning, and release production and packaging equipment when acceptance criteria are met. Ensure all quality check procedures are followed during every production phase. Assist with performing routine Environmental Monitoring checks. Ensure non-conforming items are segregated and appropriately identified as non-conforming. Assist with QC investigations per written and verbal instructions. Communicate potential quality problems to management. Assist with writing and/or revising Standardized Work Instructions and process checklists. Perform inspections for items that are returned. Review Batch Production Records for completeness and accuracy. Qualifications
High school diploma minimum. Previous QC and GMP experience preferred, preferably in a dietary supplement or pharmaceutical environment. Good oral/written communication and math skills. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and procedures. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach. Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Self-motivated while working with minimal supervision. Able to follow instructions and manage input from multiple sources. Able to adapt to changing priorities. Able to interact with multiple levels and various departments within the company professionally. Location and deadline
