JOB DESCRIPTION: This position focuses on selling services to specific markets/customers with the goal of driving business from both new and existing customers on a national and/or regional footprint. The role requires the ability to navigate at all levels of customer organizations, identify opportunities, and work with the correct decision makers. The position will identify, document, and drive strategies for key services and/or markets within its area of responsibility. It will also assist local direct sales teams with developing strategies and driving business within this area and will support marketing and operations to develop the necessary structure to drive performance. Responsibilities
Aggressively pursue and close all business opportunities within the area of responsibility. Develop and manage strategic business plans to drive opportunities. Work with local sales and operations to grow services within the area of responsibility. Develop key relationships, identify opportunities, assist/educate on quotation of services, collaborate on pricing strategies, close business, and address customer issues within the area of responsibility. Provide accurate reporting and maintain effective communication with customers, company associates, and management. Develop and present proposals with local sales personnel; maintain ERS quote management system with proposal activity to reflect potential opportunities for the period. Maintain up-to-date sales records and provide progress for forecasting. Meet or exceed sales quotas while supporting management’s strategic objectives. Conduct cold calls and follow up on proposals to close contracts. Communicate potential contract issues with field and corporate teams. Adhere to company policies, procedures and ethical codes; ensure team alignment. Provide technical application support to Sales Engineers as needed. Other duties as applicable. Competencies

Education and/or Experience: BS/BA in Business Management, Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, or Engineering (BSEE preferred). 7–10 years of direct B2B sales experience in a technical field (service sales experience preferred). Willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends. Thorough knowledge of electrical distribution systems (ability to read electrical one-line drawings). Experience in selling services preferred. Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent problem-solving abilities and capable of resolving contract and service issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience delivering presentations at all organizational levels. Understanding of Fortune 500 purchasing and decision-making processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Travel 50%+ with frequent overnight travel; valid driver’s license required. Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear; ability to work at a computer; close vision and focus adjustment; willingness to conduct site walk-throughs and work around electrical equipment. The anticipated salary range for this role in the Colorado locality is between $149,205 and $186,559 (plus sales incentive plan); salaries for other locales vary. Roles may include merit increases, annual bonuses, stock, and sales incentives based on performance and plan terms. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k. Total compensation details will be provided during the hiring process. The estimated application deadline is 10/29/2025, subject to extension as needed.
