Job Description
Five Plus years of planning experience (Manufacturing/MOD/Overhaul)
Bill of Material alignment
Efficiency flow through planning validation
Preparation of work instructions for conversion from CostPoint to SAP CAMS
Ability to work with the manufacturing floor constructively
Interpret drawings and transfer process specifications and bills of material (BOMs) to Work Orders
Experience with SAP conversions
Maintain work orders/Engineering Masters in accordance with engineering drawings, engineering change orders (ECOs), and other directives
Prioritize work for production by interpreting MRP and other data, and balancing workload accordingly
Advise Sales on delivery dates/Lead times
Track work orders/project progression through manufacturing process
Work with Engineering on any outstanding engineering change requests (ECRs) or changes to be made to work orders/Engineering Master
Coordinate delivery of stocked components from finished goods warehouse
Provide updates for and participate in weekly update meetings
Help reduce number of aged work orders
Monitor material availability
Work within AS9100, ITAR, DOT, and other regulatory guidelines
Close and file work order per AS9100 standards as required
Skills/Certifications
Ability to read engineering drawings and technical data packages
Ability to use MS Office programs
Ability to understand AS9100, ITAR, and DOT regulations and their application to planning activity
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
