A Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. This role requires applying mechanical and electrical/pneumatic knowledge to build and test industrial tooling systems according to engineering data, and understanding wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications. Responsibilities

Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. Performing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions. Interpreting 2D drawings of both mechanical and controls assembly, including controls wiring diagrams and pneumatic controls logic diagrams; electrical wiring diagram familiarity is essential. Supporting, installing, troubleshooting, and validating systems including pneumatics, servos, VFDs, relays, networks, touchscreens, pushbuttons, and robotic integration. Plumbing and wiring mechanical ergonomic lift assist tools, secure tools, robotic/automated systems, and special machines to provided drawings/schematics. Providing consistent, quality-driven results in assembling and terminating control panels, control plates, and wire/tube harness assemblies. Mechanically assembling tools and special machines using mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components. Demonstrating professionalism and delivering efficient service to internal and external customers. Ensuring continuous improvement of operations and processes. Communicating effectively with co-workers and customers (oral and written). Operating forklift, scissor lift, etc., and willing to travel internationally. May require holiday work and up to 100% travel. Qualifications

Ability to install new systems and troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic installations. Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings. Ability to use hand/power tools and basic machining knowledge. Working knowledge of PC usage, software programs, and manufacturing processes. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize with limited supervision. Ability to explain conclusions and maintain confidentiality. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing schedules and demands. Education

High School diploma or GED. Minimum 8 years’ experience and knowledge in Automotive, Metals, Plastics, Packaging, and Material Handling industries is a plus. Core Values
