Job Summary The individual would be performing clerical work for the O&M office and would require some computer skills.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to provide outstanding customer service at all time, no matter the situation.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities According to the Federal Student Aid Handbook, in general, students are not permitted to work in work study positions during schedule class time. Students who do not adhere to this policy will be subjected to discipline up to and including termination. There are exceptions, for example, if a class is canceled, the student may work during that time if the supervisor documents the exception.

Essential Duties

Navigate established computer software that exists at the college

Scan written paperwork into electronic files

Some electronic files may be large and will have to be reduced to smaller documents

Create folders for the new key files in an alphabetic system by employee last name

Take scanned documents of employee key records and transfer them into the correct file

Add additional files if requested to employee folders

Other Duties Become familiar with the college departments, procedures and personnel.

Physical Demands Sedentary (up to 10 lbs occasionally, sitting most of the time)
