We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounts Executive to support our finance and administrative operations. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, managing member enquiries, and providing front-line administrative support through phone and walk-in interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to phone calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide administrative support to the Finance Department, including filing, documentation, and data entry.
Prepare month-end journals and ensure timely and accurate closing.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness in the recording of revenue for all fraternities.
Verify miscellaneous corporate billing invoices and ensure accurate billing of members’ accounts.
Handle and follow up on payments and collections to ensure prompt settlement.
Manage cheque handling, update accounts receivable records, and process GIRO collections and terminations.
Reconcile and explain monthly debtors’ ageing reports; follow up on outstanding balances.
Generate accounts receivable reports and assist in issuing monthly Statements of Account.
Support financial year-end audit and other administrative or accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong administrative and communication skills are welcome.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting systems.
Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
Working Hours: Mon- Fri, 8.30am- 5.30pm
Working Location: Thomson (shuttle bus from MRT)
