The Project Management Office (PMO) at Policy Reporter plays a critical role in driving project execution, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment across the organization. As a centralized hub for project governance, the PMO ensures that initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Our team fosters a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and best practices in project management. We partner closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, mitigate risks, and enhance visibility into key projects that drive company growth. Position Summary

The Associate Project Manager supports the delivery of client projects under Policy Reporter’s Acumen Suite, as well as software development/enhancement projects to Policy Reporter’s proprietary platform. This role works with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to PMO standards and best practices throughout project execution. Initially, the Associate Project Manager will work under the guidance of more senior PMO team members, assisting with planning, execution, and stakeholder communication; and will progressively take ownership of smaller, lower-risk projects as experience and confidence develop, actively contributing to the PMO’s efficiency and continuous improvement. Role & Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of Acumen Suite and software development projects, supporting timely delivery within scope and budget. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and other functions to ensure smooth project transitions and client satisfaction. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning) and support iterative project delivery. Monitor project scope, schedule, and quality; escalate variances and risks as needed. Utilize Monday.com for task tracking, status updates, and team visibility. Support communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, helping translate technical details into clear, business-focused updates. Risk & Change Management

Support risk management activities by identifying and escalating potential project risks. Continuous Improvement

Help identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance project execution and stakeholder communication. Assist in maintaining project templates, frameworks, and methodologies. Reporting

Participate in “Projects at a Glance” meetings by preparing project updates and presenting status to internal stakeholders. Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of project management, project coordination, or related experience; internships or academic project experience is relevant. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail. Basic understanding of Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies; willingness to learn and adapt to project needs. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to follow guidance and escalate issues appropriately. Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable preparing updates for internal stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Monday.com or similar project/work management tools is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, Business & Technology Management), or equivalent experience. What We Offer
