Responsibilities
Visual inspection of printed circuit boards, including backplane, daughter cards, flex circuits, and assemblies.
Use of a micrometer, Vernier, and pin gauges.
Preferred use of Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and Micro view.
Follow process instructions on work documents such as batch cards and inspection reports.
Perform physical measurements such as Bow & Twist, and adhesion testing based on IPC‑TM‑650.
Inspect final finishes (Tin, Gold, Solder) and verify that they meet specifications.
Inspect various product types (flex, rigid‑flex, rigid).
Work safely to prevent injuries and follow all safety regulations.
May be required to cross‑train in other departments.
May require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read blueprints and customer drawings.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
Understand basic IPC specifications and military/commercial specs.
IPC‑A‑600 certification or basic equivalent.
Basic computer experience (Microsoft Office Outlook/Word/Excel).
Two or more years of PCB experience is a plus.
The candidate must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship. Position requires a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).
