Overview
Delivery Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Compensation ranges from $16.50 - $24.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance-based premiums; premiums may vary by schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Essential Job Functions
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicles in clean condition and complete daily vehicle inspections prior to operating. Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, handheld devices, and monies collected secure at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips. Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure the vehicle at the end of the day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Assist with additional duties such as customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, processing core returns, checking in and stocking orders, etc. May occasionally assist customers, act as a cashier, or help with merchandising tasks as business dictates. Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system. Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Desired
Familiar with automotive parts. Ability to operate other light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired). Benefits and Total Compensation
