The Mopar Supplier Ship Direct (SSD) Commodity Manager is responsible for leading efforts to ensure a portfolio of parts are available to support the Stellantis dealer body orders to meet customer expectations with world class service. The Commodity Manager leads a team of professionals driven to resolve supply delays and disruptions to achieve revenue and profitability targets for Mopar aftersales. The goal is to ultimately support our customers with the availability of the right part, right place, at the right time.
This critical role leads cross‑functional teams to resolve any, and all, issues inhibiting the robust supply of parts from external suppliers shipped directly to dealerships, often through the creation and execution of risk mitigation activities using strong logic and problem‑solving skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to execute tactical responsibilities balanced with strong strategic thinking required to prevent future supply disruptions as well as building and maintaining strong relationships across several different functional areas internal and external to Mopar. Successful Managers will be comfortable developing business plans and presenting to all levels of the organization.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferred focus in Supply Chain Management, Business, Administration or a related field)
5+ years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with automotive suppliers and dealerships
Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve objectives
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong organizational, project management and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously
Adaptable to changing priorities and environments
Self‑motivated, proactive, driven to succeed
