We are looking for a Project Management Specialist for Electrical Products. This position reports to the Lead Project Manager, Project Management Organization. The successful candidate will interface with internal and external customers to execute projects within critical hyperscale datacenter programs. This position is on-site with less than 20% travel required. Accountability & Responsibility for Results: Understand the difference between fault and responsibility and accept accountability for project results. Responsibilities: Support Project Managers on high-complexity, large-scale projects. Be accountable for commercial, technical, engineering, and scheduling aspects of intricate/highly technical electrical distribution equipment projects as directed by the project manager. Review quality documents and submit to project stakeholders. Assist with external-facing coordination of equipment deliveries with site personnel including general contractors and electrical contractors. Ensure efficient progression of orders from PO submittal through on-site commissioning. Promptly resolve post-shipment issues through prioritization and clear communication strategies. Collaborate with the entire order value chain to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Ensure all required project documentation is submitted on time and adheres to customer specifications. Develop change order proposals as part of managing the overall project. Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical design issues. Demonstrate critical thinking to resolve high-impact, complex, cross-functional problems. Comply with Siemens policies and procedures. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: BS in engineering, construction, building construction management, business administration, or general business. 3+ years of experience in project management or project administration in related industries (General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, electrical equipment). Experience with application and concepts of Electrical Products. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Proficiency with PDF editing tools. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. 5+ years of related experience. Intermediate COMPAS configuration experience with Siemens equipment (e.g., P1–P5, SB1–SB3). COMPAS equipment configuration experience with Siemens equipment (strongly preferred). Experience with electrical contractors/distributors. Familiarity with electrical specifications and submittal/O&M standards. Smartsheet experience a plus (not required but helpful). Eligibility and Benefits: Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. No employer sponsorship required now or in the future.
