Job Summary: The Project Manager will lead customer project management processes, reporting to the North America Projects & Services Leader for GE Vernova Solar & Storage Solutions.
Responsibilities
Manage solar power and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects commonly ranging in value from $10 million to $200 million US.
Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication, contract compliance, and meeting expectations with respect to safety, quality and delivery.
Manage the execution of customer contracts from contract finalization through contract close‑out, including reporting, receivables, change order and claim negotiation, and issue resolution.
Meet GE business expectations by managing safety, quality, short‑cycle schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risks.
Communicate project goals, deliverables, strategies, risks, and opportunities as required internally within GE.
Collaborate with internal GE functions and business entities to manage product deliveries and commissioning activities.
Protect GE’s reputation and technology in the marketplace.
Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all project management metrics.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred).
Minimum 3 years of project management or customer management experience (GE experience preferred).
Fluent in English, both oral and written, technical and commercial.
Proven track record of leading multi‑cultural teams.
Strong interpersonal and influence skills.
Position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, Houston, TX, or Atlanta, GA, and up to 30% travel is required (other U.S. locations will be considered).
Desired
Solar and/or BESS power plant design, procurement, and/or construction experience.
GE Solar and Storage Solutions experience.
Lean continuous improvement experience.
Location Position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Houston, Texas, or Atlanta, Georgia; up to 30% travel required.
Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $114,100.00 – $190,200.00 USD per year. Eligible for performance bonus/variable incentive compensation and equity.
