Overview
Licensed Transportation Engineer - Roadway, St. Louis, MO. Olsson is a multidisciplinary design and engineering firm focused on improving communities through transportation projects and related services. As a Licensed Engineer on the Roadway team, you will perform engineering and project management duties on roadway projects, including planning and design document preparation, design calculations, and cost estimates. You will coordinate with Olsson colleagues and clients and may travel to job sites for observation and meetings. Responsibilities
Lead highway and roadway design, corridor planning, and infrastructure improvement projects. Prepare planning and design documents and process design calculations. Prepare and manage cost estimates for projects. Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients. Attend client meetings and travel to job sites as needed to observe conditions and progress. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in transportation preferred. Minimum 4+ years of related engineering experience. Experience with MicroStation OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri, or ability to obtain within six months. Knowledge of local municipal and DOT standards and procedures. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to take ownership of projects. Additional Information
