Roskam Foods is a leading contract manufacturer partnering with world-renowned food brands, retailers, and food service providers to produce frozen, refrigerated, and shelf-stable products. Founded in 1923 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roskam Foods operates with over 2 million square feet of manufacturing space and 50 production lines across 8 facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Discovers continuous improvement opportunities and takes the initiative to drive incremental changes in HR processes and systems. Acts as a change agent. Ensures employees at all levels are treated fairly in compliance with company, state and federal policies, regulations, and laws. Partners with leaders and HR management regarding compliance with all applicable state and federal employment regulations, Human Resources policies, and best practices. Supports leaders to achieve business unit and department goals. Partners with other members of the HR Team and Centers of Excellence teams as needed. Project team member and implementor for HR initiatives. Spends significant time in the production areas offering hands-on support. Partners with plant safety team to enforce safe policy and procedures. Executes human resource programs including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring to complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Performs other duties as assigned. Benefits
