Permanent Full Time Warehouse Team Lead Location: Hebron, Kentucky

Salary: $24.23/hr - $36.35/hr (Hourly & Overtime)

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 3:00 am-12:00 pm

Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Team Lead in Hebron, Kentucky.

The role requires working with state-of-the-art equipment in the safest supply chain environment.

Products handled: Bread, donuts.

Equipment used: Sit‑Down Forklifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

At least 1 year of powered industrial truck experience preferred

At least 1 year of previous Team Lead experience preferred

At least 1 year of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) experience preferred

At least 1 year of prior warehouse experience preferred

Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner (advanced) required

Valid forklift operator’s license, certified

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Effective leadership skills

Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Performs work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent organizational skills

Proactively approaches responsibilities

Maintains composure under pressure

Uses health and safety methods

Bilingual (for Québec locations only)

Responsibilities

Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations.

Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Allocate resources and organize daily work duties for shift/team operational logistics.

Inspire and guide team members toward improved Key Performance Indicators using appropriate leadership styles and methods.

Assist in providing orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology, and tools to perform their jobs.

Assist in promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.

Deal with day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).

Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operational effectiveness and service levels.

Perform other duties as assigned.
