Overview
Role: Supportive Housing Property Manager overseeing THP-Bogen and THP-NMD sites. Reports to the Director of Supportive Housing Programs.

Role Summary The Property Manager works as part of a team to ensure building operations and management services are provided efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include quality service to residents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for affordable housing programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct daily property walks and regular inspections to ensure units and common areas are clean and safe.
Educate and support residents to adhere to property policies, including pet, smoke-free campus, and safety policies.
Maintain and oversee SHP work orders (excluding Beverly Terrace).
Coordinate with pest control and conduct emergency purchases as needed for unit turnover.
Ensure lease agreements comply with California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) regulations for affordable housing.
Collaborate with third-party property management vendors as needed.
Gather reporting data related to LAHD, HUD Demographics, Urban Futures, and LA city.
Ensure curb appeal and adherence to property policies, including parking and exterior campus matters.
Process annual recertifications and rent-related documentation per CTCAC regulations.
Collect and deposit rent payments, maintain ledgers, issue late, eviction, and abandonment notices as necessary.
Alert the Supportive Housing Director to unusual occurrences or damages on property.
Collaborate with Housing Access and Support Coordinator on move-ins and move-outs.
Location and Schedule
Location: 155 N Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Friday 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM; alternating Fridays: day off
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum two years of experience managing affordable housing under a California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) building.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
Strong oral, written, and organizational skills.
Valid California Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurer; maintain automotive liability insurance.
Physical ability to perform Pro-ACT, administer first aid/CPR, and operate an Agency motor vehicle.
Ability to independently use a computer and learn required computer programs.
Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
