AV Operations Technician/Standards Engineer
to join our AV Events and Design team. This role is located in New York City. Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and version AV standards for videoconferencing spaces to be used by vendors and AV integrators. Implement AV systems that meet AV standards, considering factors such as room acoustics, lighting, and equipment compatibility. Install and configure AV equipment, including displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, and control systems. Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues, including hardware and software problems, connectivity issues, and user errors. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 6-8 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Strong understanding of current AV technologies and systems. Experience designing, installing, and maintaining AV equipment and standards. Proven problem-solving and communication skills. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary or any other discretionary payment at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, company or department performance, and market factors.
