The Quality Inspector ensures all finished products meet inspection standards and quality requirements before shipment. This role supports production teams by performing in-process inspections, data entry, and assisting with quality analysis and audits. Key Responsibilities

Perform final inspections and complete all required data entry. Assist with in-process inspections for fabricated, powder-coated, and assembled parts, including prototype inspection and FAIR reporting. Verify documentation such as shop orders, blueprints, and Bills of Materials during inspection. Maintain organized and accurate inspection records. Support production with analysis and resolution of non-conforming products. Participate in internal quality audits as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, standards, and manuals. Strong communication skills for interacting with managers, team members, and customers. Solid math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and measurements. Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities to interpret technical data and diagrams. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using mechanical and electrical measuring equipment. Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED required. 1–3 years of related quality inspection experience. Candidates with a minimum of 7 years of proven quality inspection experience may qualify in lieu of a diploma or GED. Familiarity with inspection, measuring, and testing tools and procedures. Physical Requirements

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, handle tools, and feel objects. Occasionally required to sit, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds independently and more with assistance or equipment as needed. Must have close, peripheral, and depth vision, and be able to distinguish colors. Work Environment

Work is performed near moving and vibrating machinery. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; minimal risk of electrical shock. Noise levels range from moderate to loud. Energy Jobline wishes you the very best of luck in your next career move.
