Base pay range $118,700.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
This position focuses on driving growth in Engineering and IoT services for major Oil and Gas clients across North America. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of industry experience developing proposals, building strong client relationships, and leading solution-based sales initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create new business opportunities and deliver added value for clients in the Energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and expand the company’s Engineering and IoT services with leading Oil & Gas organizations, including Oil Field Services, Equipment Manufacturers, and Distribution companies across North America.
Present, promote, and sell Engineering and IoT services to both existing and prospective customers.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and identifying key engineering challenges.
Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to develop and promote customized engineering solutions that drive business growth.
Conduct market analysis, lead strategic sales planning, and manage sales tracking and reporting activities.
Monitor client engagement, support business reviews, and implement strategies to increase client traction and satisfaction.
Enhance market awareness of the company’s IoT and Engineering capabilities through tradeshows, thought leadership initiatives, roadshows, and client workshops.
Minimum Qualifications
Approximately 12 years of experience working with Energy companies involved in Oil and Gas exploration, drilling, production, and distribution for design and engineering services.
Strong familiarity with IT/OT systems used across the Oil & Gas value chain (Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream).
Proven experience selling services in areas such as Digital Engineering, IoT, Cloud, Analytics, and IT/OT integration.
Demonstrated success in selling service engagements or programs valued between $5–10 million.
Ability to establish and maintain executive-level relationships and a strong client network within the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in developing and executing customer portfolio sales strategies and individual account plans.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Top-line revenue growth
Total Contract Value (TCV) of deals closed, with a focus on new business, deal conversion rate, and win rate
Number and quality of CXO and executive-level client relationships established
Client satisfaction and retention levelsUtilization of partnerships and alliances to expand business opportunities
Development and monetization of client-focused solutions and services
Preferred Qualifications
