As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. You will be in the front-lines of customer service – your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member’s shopping experience. What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
Be an Expert: Understand quality processes for various types of produce; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology to support decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive department performance; stock and rotate products using perpetual inventory techniques; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; assist customers per company policies and procedures.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; value the member’s experience in the meat area; execute basics at a high level of quality; show energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying Open Door Policy.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; manages priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and opportunities for improvement.

Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Premiums may be paid in addition to base pay in specific circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or work performed).
