Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Inventory Cycle Counter / Warehouse Associate in Whitestown, Indiana. Apply today and join our Safest Supply Chain Environment with State‑of‑the‑Art Equipment.

Compensation & Schedule

Hourly Pay: $20.50 per hour

Overtime Pay: $30.75 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Equipment: Sit‑Down Forklifts, Reach Truck, Order Picker

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

1+ year powered industrial truck experience (preferred)

1+ year previous Team Lead experience (preferred)

1+ year Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) (preferred)

1+ year warehouse experience (preferred)

Knowledge/experience with advanced RF scanner (required)

Valid forklift operator's license (certified)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Effective leadership skills

Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent organizational skills

Proactive approach to responsibilities

Maintains composure under pressure

Works using health and safety methods

Bilingual (for Québec locations only)

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement efforts for optimal operational efficiency.

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.

Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPIs using appropriate leadership styles.

Assist in providing employee orientation and necessary technology/tools.

Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.

Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).

Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.

Perform other duties as assigned.
