The Role We Want You For As an Operations Executive, you will oversee and drive the successful execution of design-build projects. Serving as the primary contact for clients, project teams, and design departments, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. You will collaborate with marketing, pre-construction, business units, and operations to manage project phases including scheduling, subcontractor buyout, cost control, and closeout. Additionally, you will mentor and manage Project Managers and Engineers to ensure team success and project excellence. The Specifics of the Role Oversee large-scale projects valued between $500M and $1B, or multiple projects. Act as the main point of contact for clients, design teams, and project staff, ensuring effective communication and execution. Lead project phases from planning to closeout, maintaining quality and timely delivery. Develop detailed project status reports and site logistics plans. Manage pay requests, monitor project costs, and track job cost reports. Forecast quarterly total costs and labor expenses. Ensure timely procurement and monitor subcontractor buyouts. Collaborate with Preconstruction to oversee bidding processes. Ensure safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action compliance. Lead quality assurance processes and oversee training programs. Manage project closeout, ensuring schedules and deliverables are met. Track change orders, back charges, and budget adjustments. Mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and innovation. Lead through change, build consensus, and motivate teams. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 20-25 years of experience in construction project management. Strong knowledge of construction principles with a proven track record of managing large projects. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with mentoring experience. Problem-solving skills and adaptability with stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in managing project teams, subcontracts, and relations. Familiarity with safety, EEO, and quality standards. Physical ability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
