Transport Manager (Global Sporting Event)

– The iLUKA Collective

The Transport Manager will need to understand all elements of the assigned hospitality programme, develop and deliver host training, roster and manage the host team for the assigned hospitality programme pre‑event and onsite. This will be a contract role starting on the 9th of July and ending on the 20th of July. You will be working on a client project for the Global Sporting Event in the US in 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Coordination of on‑site operations related to host training and host games time operations

Coordination of iLUKA host team

Develop a clear understanding of the Hospitality programme, daily schedule, team roles, responsibilities expectations

Produce team and client documentation as required

Plan and manage on‑site operations

Establish effective operational systems for host team movements (linked to other areas of programme)

Establish effective communication systems for the iLUKA host team internally and towards the management team on the programme

Coordination of all designated iLUKA host team elements of hospitality programme

Establish specific training needs for programme

Develop training/operational manuals to ensure iLUKA host team has thorough knowledge of all procedures

Provide end‑of‑programme reports as directed by Programme Manager

Day‑to‑day management of iLUKA host team

Prepare familiarisation training with other managers so the team are fully conversant with all aspects of the programme including hotel facilities, resort facilities, event venues, excursion activity venues, gala dinner venues etc.

Ensure that training covers all aspects of guest contact, i.e. transport, sports venue, leisure training, hotel

Prepare an Operations Manual for the event team so that information is readily available and easily accessible, including essential contact numbers, local area information, local area history, sports venue information, sports venue maps, hotel facilities, excursions and activities, gala dinners, programme activities, transport information, guest points of contact (coach speeches, coach procedures, hotel welcomes and all other points of contact with guests), transport protocol, event schedules and history

This is not an exhaustive list and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business, as necessary.

Skills, Knowledge, Expertise

Fluent in English. Any additional languages would be an advantage.
