is seeking a driven

Business Development Manager

to join our growing team. In this strategic, client-facing role, you will build and convert a high-quality pipeline, open doors with target accounts, and partner with producers and account teams to win and expand commercial lines business. You’ll cultivate relationships with centers of influence and carrier partners to position BMB’s comprehensive solutions across our diverse client base. Develop and execute territory and account-based prospecting plans to meet qualified-pipeline and revenue targets. Build relationships with executive stakeholders at target companies; lead discovery to uncover risk, benefits, and service needs. Partner with producers and account teams to shape sales strategy, solution design, timelines, and win themes. Coordinate RFP responses, proposals, and presentations; deliver persuasive executive briefings and value narratives. Leverage CRM to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and report KPIs. Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and content; convert marketing-generated leads and create outbound opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners and centers of influence to expand reach and co-sell. Drive cross-sell/upsell within existing accounts in partnership with account teams. Represent BMB at industry associations, conferences, and community events to elevate brand presence and generate leads. Maintain deep understanding of BMB capabilities, carrier appetites, market trends, and competitive positioning. Meet or exceed quarterly targets for meetings set, qualified opportunities created, and new revenue closed. Qualifications

5+ years of B2B business development or consultative sales experience, preferably in commercial P&C insurance, risk management, or related services. Proven track record of building pipeline and exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and carrier markets; ability to translate risk and cost drivers into business value. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive audiences. Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple pursuits, deadlines, and stakeholders. CRM proficiency and comfort with sales analytics, forecasting, and KPIs. Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Risk Management, or related). License Requirements

Active General Lines Property & Casualty License (Texas)
