Barco We are currently hiring for a Business Development Manager to join our sales team within our Meeting Experience business unit, specifically on our Clickshare team. This position will be responsible for acquiring new customers and managing our regional channel partners in the territory. A Barco Business Development Manager must effectively network and communicate with end-users, channel partners, consultants, and ecosystem partners, to ensure that the company’s value proposition is clearly understood and accepted. Territory and travel
The primary territory includes the Mountains and Plains Region (CO, UT, KS, MO, MN). This position may require travel up to 50% and may include travel outside the region for tradeshows, corporate meetings, etc. Key Responsibilities
Effective demonstration of Barco technologies to end-user accounts. Perform product demonstrations at sites to highlight product differentiation based on operational and financial factors. Build relationships with local channel partners to grow Barco\'s business practice. Achieve regional sales targets and track opportunities from discovery to close. Communicate the company\'s value proposition with key decision-makers. Prospecting, evaluating opportunities, presenting products, strong negotiation skills, cold calling, product selection, and supporting the customer\'s purchase to land new business. Research organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets. Research the needs of other companies and identify decision-makers involved in purchasing. Cultivate new customer relationships and maintain a strong focus on current customers through effective use of the sales and service organizations to expand the business. Detail technical product features, benefits, and attributes to various staff positions in enterprise customers. Management of sales pipeline and forecasting activities through the corporate CRM; execute territory channel plan in conjunction with the Barco channel organization. Competencies
IT/AV and/or capital equipment sales experience required; experience with software, wired and wireless networked enterprise software solutions is preferred. Minimum 3 years of business development/sales/industry experience in a B2B environment with quota responsibility. Excellent phone and presentation skills; proven demonstration skills of technical products; successful, documented sales track record of achievement. Able to travel up to 50% (local/regional travel; additional travel for tradeshows or corporate meetings). Completion of professional sales training courses is strongly desired; familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM is required. Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Must live in MO, KS, CO, UT, or MN (territory). Salary, Benefits and Requirements
For Colorado - The salary range for this position is between $100,995 and $123,388 annually. This range represents the salary we expect to offer for this role. The actual salary will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible for commission and/or bonus pay.
