$21.79 Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor product and Quality activities in accordance with all Company, SQF, Food Safety, Personnel Safety and regulatory requirements Assure that correct components are in place during production: Date Codes, Packaging Materials, Mix/Blend components of finished product Assure that production areas are operated and maintained in a manner that protects the safety and quality of food products being produced. (Food Safety and GMP Audits) Monitor and verify through documentation preventive controls as assigned Sample incoming materials – ingredients, packaging supplies, mixes. Perform necessary tests. Maintain log of all receipts and test results. Keep “library” of control samples of ingredients, WIP, and finished goods. Release or hold ingredients and WIP Review and verify completion of daily processing and regulatory paperwork for documentation and content-regulatory accuracy. File paperwork and other test results as assigned Complete tasks within the Quality Lab ensuring personal and product safety are being maintained. Calibrate associated test equipment as required Help Maintain specification books for accuracy and update as necessary Sample and send customer requested materials (raw, finished, packaging, micro-biological) as required Assist in training of new quality control personnel, as required Be a good team player and work in a cooperative and professional manner Communicate quality issues in a professional manner through appropriate channels of supervision (Quality, Maintenance, Packaging, etc.). Assist in identification, investigation and resolution of quality issues related to manufacturing of finished products Skills
Proficient in the use of computers and business-related software. Included but not limited to; SAP, IQS, TraceGains, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good understanding of quality control processes and manufacturing processes related to the food or beverage industry Strong customer service, relationship building, problem solving and follow-up skills Ability to multitask Experienced in; Preventive Controls, FSMA, SQF and GMP’s (good manufacturing practices) Results driven with high personal ownership Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Minimum Requirements
Must be 18+ years old High School diploma or equivalent required Six months of food manufacturing experience Physical Demands
Lifting up to 40 lbs Bending/squatting/kneeling/twist/turn on a frequent basis Reaching above shoulder and reaching outward on a frequent basis Ability to stand for long periods of time EEO Statement
