Overview

As the next general manager of our busy hotel, you’ll lead our staff and provide outstanding service to customers. We seek a leader who presents new and creative ideas to boost revenue and build strong guest relationships to encourage repeat business. The ideal applicant has at least 5 years of hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel management role. As general manager, you will oversee human resources functions such as interviewing, hiring, training, task assignment, coaching/counseling, and performance management. Construct and manage an effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's rooms, public areas, and grounds to cultivate a reputation for quality Empower hotel staff to excel in superior guest service to drive financial success through strong leadership and creative operational strategies Guide the leaders of each hotel department in developing goals, objectives, and a plan of action for achieving them Design a budget that guarantees customer satisfaction and quality of services while keeping expenses controlled and profit margins maximized Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the hotel or hospitality industry Proven customer service experience as a manager with a strong guest-focused mentality High school diploma or equivalent GED; a degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager Demonstrated excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Compensation

Compensation:

$65,000-$75,000 per year
